“The greatest thing you’ll ever learn Is to love and be loved in return.” – Natalie Cole
Caitlin and Kevin, we don’t even know where to start with these two. The first time we met them we were carried away in a three hour conversation spanning movies, music, tv, and everything in between. In fact, we probably only talked about their wedding for a total of 5 minutes during our entire time meeting them. Those conversations for us always sets our hearts on fire for a couple. When we can just talk for hours with our couples it means that capturing their day will be just like spending time with friends. It also sets up our relationship with a couple to be relaxed, and creates an ease when we capture their amazing day.
Caitlin and Kevins’ wedding day was a direct reflection of who they are as a couple, it was laid back and just fun. From Caitlin getting into her dress twice, playing card games, drinking tea, and taking shots of fireball it was just another day of hanging gout with their amazing friends and family members. This ease on their day mostly came from the fact that Caitlin and Kevin have known each other their entire lives. They went to the same school (where they were married) they are not only lovers but best friends, and this was reflected in every aspect of their day from the ease throughout the day to the party that followed.
Celebrating with Caitlin and Kevin was such a joy, it was the perfect Glen Echo Park wedding, and the location fit the two of them to a T. Caitlin’s family even helped set up the lighting for the reception with their vast theater background which set the mood for an amazing evening. We couldn’t have been more excited to be a part of and capture the day of such an amazing and sweet couple who stole our hearts from day one. Partying the evening away with these two is something that we’d do again in a heartbeat.
